!! UPDATES UPDATES & MORE UPDATES !!

[Bare with me as I take this time to whine and complain about my horrible week.]

Week 7 has been by far, the most stressful, tiring, and busiest week I've had here at UCLA. From the chem quiz and math midterm, a 4 page literature paper about Douglass' Slave Narrative, to office hours, tutoring, and numerous meetings, it was also the week when my feet decided to be injured at random times (causing me to walk like a duck & having me be late to class or forcing me to wake up 30 minutes earlier just so I can make it in time for class), and it's also "that time of the month." I usually don't have a problem with being PMS-ey or anything, but if I've been pissy last week, then you know why. ;)

But here's the past month in a nutshell:

{Cerritos Homecoming} It was great seeing everyone again! I really did miss so many people and I was glad that they showed up. Unfortunately, I thought the Class of '05 could have done a much better job with decorations, entertainment, and just the dance overall. It felt like a middle school dance with only 1/3 of the dance floor moving and especially with administrators walking around keeping a watchful eye on anything suspected of being "freaky." Nonetheless, I had a great time and I wish we could do it again. :)

{UCLA MUN} It was a whole new experience organizing the college conference for the high schoolers, and I must say that I had a great time at it. My director was so goofy and weird that it was funny to everyone who visited our committee. It was really strange to see some of the same students that I've been competing against in high school, and especially to find out that they are 1-2 years younger than me. There was this guy in my committee who looked 35 and he was actually just a sophomore! Those crazy hormones! It was great having Jason around to observe what this MUN thing is all about. Thanks for coming & for supporting me! The same goes for you Mina.

{eBay} My awesome roomie Eunice have officially become eBay fanatics, going to Urban Outfitters every week to catch the biggest sales, then capitalizing on the other eBay freaks and making good profit off of it. I'm thinking about turning it into a real business like those POWERsellers with a gajillion positive feedback. Pretty cool :D

Hmm so I think that's basically it for now. I'm going home this weekend to spend time with my honey, get some family time together, and of course, to do laundry! Why pay $1.75/load when you can get it for free in the comforts of your own home? Yay for warm clothes! :P Now, for some good ol' eye candy!
