4:23 PM || Eargasm: Maren Ord - Just Like You
"So you look at your life / You look at the world / The you look to the oceans / You're looking for that world / A world above the rest / Something to set you free / Then you realize / You need to get out."
OMG this is SO FRiGGiN' CUTE! Even though I can't understand anything `cept when they say the "Sarang-hae" part, it makes me soo HAPPY! Yes, call me pathetic. But there's something about dancing and singing characters with numbers on their heads that make them so appealing. Take a look for yourself! Is it not the most adorable thing you have seen? *SMiLE*
On another more serious note, UCLA sure does have some weird admissions policies. They claim that they base their decisions mostly on academic performance (meaning grades, weighted GPA, level of difficulty in classes), yet some of the highest achieving students of our senior class didn't get accepted. Strange. It almost seems as if it was random or something. Regardless of whatever method they chose, I was one of the lucky ones to get accepted. =) And yes, if it weren't for present circumstances, I would be, as Daisha said, "so happy I would feel like peeing on my pants!," but that is not the case with me. It's a long, and complicated process. But basically, if my financial aid stuff doesn't follow through, I'm gonna have to resort to declining admission at whichever school I decide to go to, and resort to going a community college .. which would be a total waste of everything I had hoped and worked for. So yea, I would be ecstatic if I were in anyone else's shoes, yet, I'm bound by these restrictions in which my future has yet to be determined. But yes, I'm still happy. Just gotta be optimistic and pray and hope for the best. Congratulations to all those who got accepted. ;D
