7:15 PM || Eargasm: UB40 - Can't Help Falling in Love (Fools Rush In) *smile*
Life has been oh-so-good to me. It's like, there's a reason for all the bad times that's happened in my life -- and that is, so I can fully appreciate the good times. Although this week wasn't totally perfect, the good definitely outweighs the bad. [Read on only if you're really bored cause it's gonna get long.]
This past week has been extra busy (as every other week is), beginning with watching the play Antigone at South Coast Repertory with the other AP English students on Tuesday. I was panicking at first because I lost my ticket, so Harsh, Kevin, and I didn't leave my house until about 6:35 or so. But turns out that Harsh drove pretty darn fast cause we were one of the first ones there (since everyone else was out eating at South Coast Plaza.) So the three of us played some Hold 'Em where I was up $8 from Harsh, then I got a duplicate of my ticket (what nice ticket people!), and bummed around & mingled with the classmates until it was time to go in. I thought the play overall was alright, not too great and not so bad. It was really really modern, almost a futuristic rendition of the Greek tragedy. Some of the characters sucked really bad, but there were two of them who were good eye candy! Right, Yina? Haha. ;P But the best part of the night was getting grub at Del Taco with Harsh, Kevin, Jason, and Anisha. We had the most hilarious conversations about particulars, with Kevin busting out his perverted remarks every other second. But I must say, I had a good laugh. And so the night ended on a good note.
Friday was particularly eventful, with the Valentine's Day Couple Game during school, and then the Winter Formal dance at night. The Valentine's Day Couple game didn't turn out the way the AOGs had hoped, but hey, we gave it a try. Harsh and I got mixed up with the questions because we attempted to alternate the guys and girls questions, so that was where we made our mistake. But all in all, it was fun and the participants had fun. Congrats Arnold & Judy on winning! And dude people, it wasn't rigged! I promise! Sheesh. It's like, when people do really really well, others get all skeptical and think everything's rigged. Whatever though. Congrats you lovers!
So then after school, I went to the Florist to pick up our corsage & boutonnière, and had some car trouble so had to call Triple A. But then Harsh the lifesaver came and took us girls home. I just waited and did some Formal preparations until about 5:45 when Sandra came and picked me up to go to Catherine's house. Catherine wasn't home yet so we just stayed at Sandra's and got dressed. Then 10 minutes later, Catherine told us to come over so we can get all prettied up. Jessica did my hair and Catherine did my makeup, and then Rex and Jason came to pick us up. The four of us, Jessica, Jason, Rex, and I went to this Japanese restaurant called Ebisu to get some din din before the dance. The food was really yummy and not too expensive so it was really good. Then we headed to the dance at the Mile Square Country Club around 8:30ish, took pictures, and got on the dance floor to get jiggy wit it! LOL! Yea, everyone looked beautiful as always. The DJ wasn't all that great so that was a bummer. Congrats Catherine and Brandon on being crowned Snow King & Queen! YAY! =D Good times good times. I had SO MUCH FUN dancing with Rex! He knows how to get his groove on, ya heard? Haha. Thanks REX for being such an AWESOME date! Loved every minute of it! Then after the dance, we just headed to In & Out where a lot of other Formal people were and got something to eat. Everyone was knocked out so we just decided to head on home. Winter Formal was off-the-heezy because of the people I was with! So no complaints about that.
On to Valentine's Day! It was seriously the best Valentine's Day I have ever had. The guys were SOOO cute! Originally, Anisha and I thought that Cameron and our valentines, Harsh and Jason, were just gonna cook us dinner. But it turned out to be a lot more special and made us 'awww' a lot. Haha. So the guys kidnapped and blindfolded us before we got to our destination -- Harshoneron's Restaurant (Harsh's house.) Then the girls (Anisha, Sandra, and I) were thrown into the tv room, where one by one, the guys came in and played 'Restaurant.' Harsh was the master chef, Cameron was the wine boy, and Jason was the usher. Then they took us to the candlelit living room, where they presented us with their Valentines gifts (thanks Jason! I love them!), then served us dinner, which I must admit, was oh-so-scrumptious! The menu included: homemade garlic bread, salad, "Gargonzolaepere Cameron Pizza Pie", "Pasta Italiano w/ Harsh's Love", "Sun-dried Jason w/ Alfredo Sauce", "Tri-layered VegiShmegi Lasagna", Apple-Cranberry wine, and yummy Tiramisu for dessert! Everything was really really good. The boys are really good cooks. =D After dinner, we played Taboo (guys vs. girls), where we ended up in a tie! It was SO hilarious because we tried to distract the members of the opposite sex by doing stuff and it actually worked! HAHA! After playing, we cuddled up and watched Fools Rush In, which was a really cute movie. And yea. *all smiles* =) My Valentine's Day can only be described in one word: PERFECT. Thank you, Valentine. <3
And so that completes the week. Life is BEAUTiFUL! ain't it? .. (why do I sound like Sandra right now? haha!) Until next time!
