6:09 PM || Eargasm: Josh Groban - When You Say You Love Me (the words are so beautiful and so true)
I updated the songs on here so if you press f5, you should hear new songs. Just thought a little change would be good. =D
UCR MUN weekend wasn't so bad after all. I was expecting it to be not-so-great considering the fact that very few of my friends went, and the kids who went were mostly all sophomores. So to my surprise, it was a lot better than I thought. On the bus ride over to UCR, which took about 3 hours since traffic lagged the bus, Edward and I did some crazy bonding with Ms. Egan (Middleton). She was asking about our career plans for the future and what 'flings' were going on with the Senior MUN class. HAHA it was so funny! We found out that Ms. Egan was a college party girl and used to go out drinking & all. LOL. Plus, she now knows about who liked who in our senior class, and about all the relationships and drama that went on in our 4 years of MUN, (thanks to Ed and I.) It's pretty funny how she already suspected a lot of things that really did happen. She even thought that Edward and I were together! HAHAHA! That's the funniest thing ever. Ed's my bro and that's just gross.
Anyway, the conference went pretty smoothly despite our unfamiliarity with the UCR MUN rules & procedures. Edward and I tried our very best in everything. And honestly, not to sound cocky or anything, but we thought we were one of the top 3 in committee at the culmination of the final session since we pretty much dominated during caucuses and made lots of comments on many of the speeches. But then we only got a Commendation, which made us REALLY sad & mad at the same time, because we KNEW we kicked butt and deserved much better. Got pretty pissed off because we thought we did better than some of the other countries who got Outstanding awards. But I'm not gonna say more than that. So BLEH. We talked to the chair/director after the awards ceremonies, and found out that they didn't really count caucuses as much as speeches & comments, so that's what brought us down. Because caucuses are mine and Edward's strongest points, and they counted them the least. Also, we only got to make about 5 speeches while some of the others got to make 7 or so. But okay, enough excuses. We know we tried our best and it's our own satisfaction of our performance that really counts (although it would have been nice to bring home a gavel for our last conference.) Nonetheless, I had a great time co-ing with Edward (best Co ever!) and having Mina (the FREAK), Ryan (the PiMP), Kristine, Louie, Wesley, Ji-Ho, Mark, and other CHS delegates in my committee. The social, aka "Resolution Fusion" was alright but I wasn't feelin' it too much since my senior groovin' buddies weren't there. Needless to say that our chair was pretty hot (even Ms. Egan thought so!) Congrats to all the CHS MUNers on receiving our school delegation! YEY YUH! We rock. =) I was also very surprised and very happy that I had a couple friends who came to pick me up after I returned to Cerritos land. Thanks Jessica & Jason. Made my day! =)
And so my MUN days are behind me .. I know for sure that I learned so much about the world, about others, and especially about myself through this program, and the memories made during these 4 years, I will treasure in my heart. Thanks for everything, my second family. For sure y'all have a blast at Berkeley, so make the most of it! Just wish I could be there with you sexy guys & gals.
But enough about MUN. Today, I went movie-hopping with Jessica, Diane, and Jason and watched Big Fish and Along Came Polly. Big Fish was really really good. It's different, a little strange at times, but a cute movie overall with a lot of meaning. Along Came Polly was pretty funny, and Jennifer Aniston looked really hot in that movie. Sharted. LOL! Haha. Oh! And after the movie, Diane told us that the couple behind us were having sex during the movie! EWWW! We didn't even notice or hear anything! But since D was sitting on the row above us, she saw stuff happening! That's pretty gross man. *shudders*
Alright this is getting long, so I best be going now. Lots of events to look forward to this week such as hosting the Valentine's Day Couple game and especially Winter Formal, 'A Rendezvous in Paris' with Rexford! I feel so unprepared, but still I am very very excited! It's gonna be GREAT I tell ya! Just wonderful! =)
