10:03 PM || This week has been extra busy! But I guess the more blog-worthy events are what happened on Friday and Saturday. So on Friday after school, the MUNers and I were grilled by Mrs. Middleton on the procedures of committee. Then we had to set up our rooms and make sure everything was set for our Cerritos conference on Saturday. After doing all of that, Josie and I went to Stephanie's house to get ready for the GAHRbage football game. We didn't know what to do, so Josie just braided our hair stringing red, yellow, and white ribbons through it. Then we were off to Del Taco to grab some food before the game. GAHRbage game was so fun! ASB was selling spirit items and we made a lot of sales (i think) so that's good. And the boys, Jason D., William, Jeff, Howard, Rodney, Ellis, Adrian, and Cameron went topless and had the letters C-E-R-R-I-T-O-S written on their bodies. Pretty sexy, huh? LOL. They must have been freezing too, so they were good sports. I also saw Jay there, so that made me really happy. ;D Cerritos whooped GAHRbage's butts, so good job team! =) After the game, Dewey, Jessica, and I stood around in the parking lot until most of the cars left, then we went to the CHS parking lot to meet up with the rest. Everyone was just dancing around & playing. Good times. :P Most of the people went to In & Out to eat, but since Dewey didn't wanna go and he was my ride, I just went home to finish working on my MUN poster.
On Saturday morning, I got dressed up and went to school for the MUN conference we were hosting. One of the main reasons why I stayed in the MUN program was so I could be director during my senior year. I was soo excited! So then during opening ceremonies, Yina and I couldn't stop feeling giddy about everything. Haha we're suck dorks. Then we headed off to our committees to start everything. Justine, Brian, Christina, and I had such an awesome 3rd committee! I had a lot of fun being director, and it was an experience finally getting to see how it is being a non-delegate and the one with the power choosing who gets an award or not. Pretty exciting stuff. Thanks for visiting me committee Jay! *mwah* My committee did a lot of funky stuff during the last 30 minutes since we ended early. Thanks Justine, Brian, and Christina for being such awesome moderators & assistant moderators! I was really proud of my committee and glad that everyone learned a little something new about MUN in general. Good job to Nisha & Berry for organizing such a well-run conference! *high five* All your hard work paid off, so be smile and happy! Now we're gonna have so much fun at Boston & Rhode Island for Brown MUN next month. That's definitely something to look forward to. Lots of chances to do some good bonding with the buddies. Yay!
After the awards ceremonies, a bunch of us (Sandra, Cameron, Edward, Howard, Adrian, David, Harsh, Christine Lee, Andy Kim, Ann-Marie) went to Elephant Bar to grub cause we all had such long days. Rodney and Rex came too a bit later. We had a good time grubbing while chatting about politics, religion, etc.. even though we were way too loud for our own good. After dinner, we took pictures outside, then went to Adrian's house to watch the korean movie "My Sassy Girl" with the boys. It was sausage-fest + me! Haha. I fell asleep during part two of it, but woke up in time to watch the rest. It sucks cause the guys told me I missed all the romantic parts of the movie. Aww .. I guess I just have to borrow it from Adrian then. It was a really sweet and romantic movie .. that it made all the guys want to have a girlfriend afterwards. Haha! I had so many chats with them about girls & love .. they are so cute! LOL. ;D So I would recommend that movie to anyone since it's also comedy and action packed into a love story. Hehe. Yea. A very fun and long day.
I have to study for the SATs this Saturday! I have been slacking off a lot in terms of school. Just been really busy I guess. I also have to get an outfit for Homecoming soon. I hope I find something that goes with the theme.
You know what sucks? When a friendship is dying, and you try so hard to find out what's been going bad .. yet you don't get an answer. And you just sit and wonder what you did to make the other person sad or mad, yet you can't come up with anything at all. Yea, that sucks. =( I hope everything works it way out.
