1:32 AM || The song currently playing, Allison Krauss - When You Say Nothing At All, is gonna be one of my wedding songs. I love it! The lyrics are just plain beautiful. =)
Friday was loads of fun. After school, I sold frogurt (frozen yogurt) with Amy, and then went to the ASB room to clean it. Hannah and I did a really good job at tidying up the place. Looks a lot better than before! Haha. After cleaning, Diane, Sandra, and I made posters for the Cerritos MUN conference which is exactly one week from today. I'm so excited to be a director! It's gonna be so much fun and a heck of an experience. While making posters, a bunch of senior guys and girls were dressed up for the Homecoming promotion pictures. I would have done it except I didn't know that we had to bring a dress that day, so yeah. Then we learned the beginning of the Homecoming Fashion Show dance. Cameron is my partner! Whoo hoo! ;D
After practicing for a little bit, Brian and I rode with Cameron to Carl's Jr. for the Seniors' fundraiser, where we met up with Howard, Jason C., Jinny, Catherine, and Liz. We saw Asmita and Lindsey there too so that was cool. Turns out that there was another fundraiser going on that day for Pat Nixon Elementary, so that sucked. We ate and talked, then Derek and Daniel Wu (Dewey) came later. Daniel, Derek, Cameron and I had a really good conversation about a lot of stuff so that was a pleasure. After that, we went outside where other people were playing the guitar and just hanging around. Then after about 2 hours at Carl's Jr., Adrian took me home with his sister and Ken.
Stephanie picked me up at around 7:30 to go to church. I was in her cell group which was really cool. There were so many new people there! I haven't been there in a while so I didn't recognize a lot of faces. After worship, we played games which were really fun! Too bad our group didn't win anything. Haha! Charlene and I played the game where we had to peel and eat a banana without using our hands. We actually got the peel off so we did pretty well. Then came the night's message from Jason, which I found to be pretty inspiring. Then at around 10, we just stayed and chilled there. I had a little one-on-one chat with Dewey for about an hour or so, and that was really cool. I never really get to have one-on-one conversations with a lot of people, so I enjoyed talking to him last night. Thanks Daniel! :D
At around midnight or so, Brandon Harada, Steph, Derek, Dewey, and I went to Guppy cause we were all craving shaved ice. But there were a grip of people there, so we just headed to Hof's Hut where Howard, Chris, Kelly, Kevin, Christine, Andrew, and Pathu were eating. I played Texas Hold 'Em (using sugar packets) with Steph, Dewey, and Derek, and I won! Haha it was fun. The last game, Dewey & I played as a team against Derek & Steph, and we lost! Haha but it's all good cause we won all the other games. Good job partnah! =) Then Steph took me home, but before that we passed by Nina's house cause I wanted to check it out. Turns out that the accident was a lot worse than I had imagined. There's literally like a large hole in her house. I don't know what I would do if my house blew up like that. My blessings go out to her and her family.
Today turned out to be quite fun indeed. At around 7, Rex picked me up to go to Rodney's house. I saw the most adorable thing ever! When Rodney was leaving the house, he hugged and kissed his mom goodbye! Awww .. I think that's so sweet. Good for you Rodney! Hehe. So then Rex suggested going to Tokyo Habachi to eat some good Japanese food, where I saw one of my students from work! Wow, what a small world. Anyway, so after eating there, we couldn't really come up with anything to do, so we just went back to Rodney's house to chill. We looked through his photo albums, jammed to some music, and did whatevers clever. After a while, we wanted to catch a late night movie, so we called Josie, picked her up, then went to LBTC to watch a movie. The ticket people were so gay cause they wouldn't let us buy tickets for Cabin Fever since it was rated 'R' and I didn't have any ID proving that I was 17. So we decided to buy tickets for the Fighting Temptations, then sneaked into Cabin Fever, which proved to be our mistake. The movie was totally gross and gory, and the ending sucked! Haha. What a waste of money. Oh well, it was fun watching Rodney get all "happy scared" during the gross parts of the movie. LOL! :D
So now I'm home, not really sleepy yet so I'm blogging. I doubt anyone actually read all of this, but it's all good I guess. Sunday is gonna be jampacked with stuff to do, then Monday is here. BOO. We need to have longer weekends. 4 days perhaps? Hah. In my dreams.
