'Life isn’t about keeping score. It’s not about how many people call you and it’s not about who you’ve dated, are dating or haven’t dated at all. It isn’t about who you’ve kissed, what sport you play, or which girl or guy likes you. It’s not about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin or where you live or go to school. In fact, it’s not about grades, money, clothes, or colleges that accept you or not. Life isn’t about if you have lots of friends, or if you are alone, and it’s not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. Life just isn’t about that.

But life is about who you love and who you hurt. It’s about how you feel about yourself. It’s about trust, happiness, and compassion. It’s about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance, and building confidence. It’s about what you say and what you mean. It’s about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. Most of all, it is about choosing to use your life to touch someone else’s in a way that could never have been achieved otherwise. These choices are what life's about.'

I found that somewhere and thought it would be nice to share with you all. =) Anyway, I've been keeping myself busy these past couple days which explains for the lack of posts. I'll recap on some of the more blog-worthy events.

Freshman Orientation; We had a long meeting yesterday at Diane's house to work on Freshmen Orientation for this coming school year. We decided to get rid of the 'Finding Nemo' theme and just start it from scratch. So Jenny, Joyce, and I are leaders for the 'Rules' group, who is basically in charge of making up the skits to explain the dress code, merits, and other rules at school. So far, our skit is coming pretty well, and hopefully we'll get a lot of participating from outside people 'cause we need a lot of characters for ours. So if you're interested in doing Freshman Orientation, it's gonna be on Tuesday, August 26, sometime during the late morning-early afternoon time period. Ask me for more info!

BJs; Yesterday was the grand opening for BJs across the mall, so a bunch of us after the meeting headed over for dinner. The people who went were William, Jason D., Matt, Stephanie, Sandra, and I. We had to wait for nearly an hour `cause it was so crowded, but we had fun bonding and playing cards. Oh goodness, we looked like such Asians playing cards in a restaurant. LOL! This waitress had no idea what we were playing and she wanted to join in. Haha, but too bad she couldn't `cause she was working the whole time. We played Blackjack and Poker, and loser would have to eat the packet of sugar or 10 sprinkles of that spicy pepper. Then Will and Sandra started arguing about something, and Sandra was like, I'll drink that salsa in that bowl for the Class of 2004! And she drank almost the whole thing! Wow, she has balls. Haha. Crazy woman. We had a really good time talking about the upcoming Senior year, who we want to go with to dances, relationships, etc.. It was great! Then, Slick Sandra told the waiter that it was Stephanie's birthday, so we got a free Pizookie and ordered another one. I finally got to taste what everyone's been talking about for years. It was really good! The guys were teasing me `cause I was eating so much. Haha! It's okay boys, I still love y'all. After BJs, which took like 2 hours or so, we went to the parking lot to figure out what we wanted to do when this man towards us and said something about his car being stuck and how his wife and kids need to go home, but they don't have money for busfare. So we pitched in our change and stuff. When he left, Will told us how that same man had done the exact same thing to him at Border's! What a scam! But then, we were talking and came to the conclusion that for whatever reason he needed the money, we felt satisfied knowing we helped him. Know what I mean? Yea, then we saw him go into BJs .. he probably went to get himself a Pizookie or something. LOL. :D

Movie; So we couldn't decide what to do, so the girls ended up going to April's house to go watch Final Destination. All of us watched it already with the exception of April, so it wasn't as scary as it was the first time we watched it. Howard came later after his work, watched the rest of the movie, then went all our separate ways `cause we were all pretty tired.

Picture Gallery; I've been working on this site for the past couple days now, and so far everything's coming together well. I've been obsessing over those cute Kim Anderson photos. Josie said that if she had kids, she'd let them to those kinds of photos just because they're so cute! Haha. That gallery is an ongoing project, so I'll be adding pictures everytime I take new ones and stuff. So just keep checking back for updates and all. Go visit it! =)
