12:35 AM || Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates but I've just been really busy lately. A lot of things have happened since I last blogged, but I'll just write about the bigger events.

AP Scores; Let's just say that I'm not too proud of them. LOL. Well I passed my US History one with a 4 [without cheating!] so I'm really proud of myself for that. Plus, one of my semester B's gets changed to an A so that'll boost my GPA a little. English, I passed with a 3, but I was really hoping for a 4 so I was kinda bummed. But a pass is still a pass, right? So that's cool. Then finally, Chemistry. Unfortunately, I didn't pass that one. =( What a waste of a whole year, huh? Oh well. What's done is done, and I can't change my performance on that test. But really, it's my fault for neglecting to study for that test. So yea, got nobody to blame but myself. I heard that a lot of colleges don't look at AP Chem since it's a new class and all, so hopefully that won't hurt my college admissions. I still got two Bs [2 As weighted] in that class though, so I guess it's still good. Hopefully next year, I'll get off my butt so I can pass all 4 tests. Good job to everyone who survived a year of AP stressin'. ;D

ASB Camp; I came back from ASB Camp at around 2pm today, and boy, do I have lots to talk about! We came there on Wednesday kindly greeted by Ray & Jane, our hosts for the 3 days there. That couple is so cute! They're like the Macs, only with more blond hair. Haha. So the girls found the big room, but there weren't enough beds, so a couple girls ended up sleeping on the ground. The girls in our room were me, Jessica, Judy, Stephanie, Catherine, Tina, Sarah, Gloria, Sandra, and Justine. We went outside to eat lunch, play ping-pong, and dip our feet into the pool. We did the whole Getting to Know You activity and found out a lot of weird facts about people. After that, we heard about the rules and expectations at Camp, then received a time management lecture from Mr. Mustard. We did this group activity with flipping a carpet rug, then went to the field for Spirit Groups 1, 2, and 3 to try out their spirit events. The first group's event involved flour and grass, not a good combination for people who have allergies. A lot of people [including myself] ended up getting rashes and was really itchy and all. I inhaled the flour while trying to find the candy pieces, so I got kinda sick from that too. Went back to the house, played games [and discovered new ones like Ninja & Bunny], and hung around until it was time to eat dinner. Next, we talked about Freshmen Orientation and the theme for it 'Finding Nemo', and planned out the year with the first session of Master Calendar. We got through the first 3 months, which took forever because people have side conversations, then went into the library to watch 20 minutes of Austin Powers to get ideas for Homecoming. Afterward, we split up into our Homecoming groups to plan out everything. I was in the rally committee, so we discussed how to decorate the gym and how to announce the Top 5 nominees while incorporating everything together with the storyline that Jason C. and Jason D. came up with. Ended up discussing Homecoming until midnight or so, then washed up to go to bed. But of course, there has to be bonding during the nighttime. So a bunch of us girls, Sarah, Gloria, Sandra, Stephanie, Judy, Justine, and I, formed our little circle and chatted over love, relationships, boys, parents, teenage pregnancies, etc.. It was really great to be able to bond with the girls and chat comfortably over a couple of sensitive issues. I absolutely love heart-to-heart chats! =D Then after about 2 hours, we all went to sleep.

Thursday ended up being a very long and tiring day. We had breakfast, then went into the field for Spirit Groups 4 & 5. I was in Group 5 with Judy, Sue, Jason D., Joyce, Chris, Krystal, and Saru. The spirit events were fun so that was cool. Then, we took our group pictures, and took an all-girls picture carrying Howard. Man oh man! I got stuck having to carry Howard's upper body, and my hand was stuck under his armpit! He was sweating too so that was pretty gross! Haha. After that, we headed over to the obstacle course and competed against 2 other groups. Our group ended up getting 2nd place. Then, a bunch of people went rock climbing, many attempting the hardest wall, but none succeeding in that one. Only like 5 people have ever reached the top on that one. While others climbed the rock wall, the rest were either swimming in the pool, playing Chicken Fight & Marco Polo, or inside playing cards and other games. By the time it was lunch, everyone was already tired and all. But the day doesn't stop there! After lunch, played more games, then went canoe racing which was fun, but sucked to lose because Jason D. and I weren't really informed of the rules so we lagged for the team. Haha! Sorry guys! But yea, Mr. Mustard is such a bully! When he went canoe racing, he kept flipping people's canoes over! LOL! It was funny to watch Jason C. and Will actually swim in that dirty pond. SO many people kept losing their flip flops! Funny stuff. Afterward, we finished the rest of Master Calendar planning. Then, we went swimming with Tae as our 'lifeguard', and watched Jason D. as he belly-flopped in the pool. LOL! That was some funny stuff man. ;P After swimming, we had dinner, then prepared our skits for freshman orientation, lip syncing, and roll call. My group is in charge of the Tours skit for the Orientation so that should be fun. Then, we all hopped onto the truck to go on the hay ride, but was disappointed because the tire was really flat and messed up. It sucks because the same thing happened last year when we went, so the hay ride was cut short. We had to walk back to the cabin, get our stuff for the skits and campfire, and walked back to the Wagon for the campfire. We roasted marshmallows and hung around with everyone. Then the groups played Roll Call which was SO much fun! Our group was "chang chang chika bong, chika boo, chika bow!" with these funny hand motions. It's so fun when everything goes quickly and everyone gets all into it. Hehe. Then, we sat on the benches and got ready for everybody's skits for Freshmen Orientation. Our group went first, but we totally forgot our lines because we didn't really go over it a lot, but it's all good 'cause it was still fun. All the groups did their skits, then we did the Lip Syncing contest, where our group did the Oldies song 'Follow Him.' Everyone's performance was really cute! Great job y'all! Okay so then, it was like 10:30 or so, so we headed back to the house for free time. Of course, we played Mafia because that's like a tradition to play at ASB Camp. William was Mafia and beat everyone! That game was crazy. Jessica was the Nurse, Will was Mafia, and Catherine was a civilian. During the last nightfall, Will chose to kill Jessica, but Jess, thinking that everyone was mad because she kept choosing herself to save, saved Catherine instead. And so that's how Will won the game. I have to give him props though, cause he's a really good liar! Haha. "I put it down on everything, my ASB position, EVERYTHING!" .. my butt. HAHA! Nobody's gonna trust him again after that. LOL! We played a couple more games, washed up, then went to our rooms. Oh yea. Jeff and Justine had a contest in the pool for whoever could stand without moving the longest. It ended up in a draw after an hour because the Macs really wanted them to get out, but both too stubborn and prideful to give up. So they just moved at the same time. Well, we planned on raiding the guys that night, so since Mr. Mustard was staying in the boys' room, we asked him for permission. He was totally cool about it and even specified the times and all. So the girls all met up in our room, planned the raid, and went to sleep. The raid started at around 3:30am, when we found out that the guys had gotten locked out of their rooms so they had to stay in the library. That means it was easier for them to raid us because it was open space and all. The blocked off the kitchen and put whipped cream and flour all over the kitchen floor. It was really messy! Not a lot girls went to raid because we were either too tired, in a deep sleep, or just didn't want to get in trouble. I think the only girls who went were Jessica, Gloria, Sarah, and most of the freshmen girls. I don't really know details, but when Stephanie called me out to look at the common room, it was really really bad. The raiders got whipped cream, shaving cream, and flour ALL OVER the couches. Diane saw, and she got really mad and told them all to clean up. I felt really bad for her because if anything happened, CHS ASB would probably never be invited again to that camp, and it would be Diane's fault partly because she's supposed to be the one in charge of making sure nothing gets too out of control. So yea, the people involved had to clean up everything before the advisors woke up. This morning, we woke up, ate breakfast, packed up, then presented our finalized Homecoming ideas. Everything had to be pretty detailed, so that when the school year starts, it's not 'planning' time anymore, but actually 'making things happen' time. Things looked good from the way everything was sounding, but the only problem was enforcing the 'formal' dresswear when the theme is 70s. But I guess we'll just see what happens. We heard Mr. Mac's wonderful speech, then cleaned the house, took more group pictures outside, and then loaded the bus. Everyone was dead tired, so most of the people just went to sleep on the bus. Catherine was doing this relationship status thing with her cards, and everyone's results were pretty accurate so it was really weird. Both times that I did mine, me and Jay were both looking at each other and have each other's hearts, but that we are experiencing some problems. I remember last year when Pamela did this for me, all 4 times that she did it, my results all carried the same meaning. Strange, isn't it? So yeah, listened to more of my slow jams, then stopped by at this Town Center area to get lunch. Mostly everyone ate at Carl's Jr. or Subway. Then, went back to the bus and headed on home for another hour.

Overall, I had a really great time at ASB Camp these past 3 days! There was a LOT of bonding with everyone, and I learned a lot of new games as well! We went there for the purpose of having fun while at the same time, getting things done, and that's what we did. Our goals were met and everyone had a great time. Comparing this year to last year, everything this year seemed to take longer than last year. But last year's was a whole lot more cliquey-er than this year. I think it's cause of the fact that practically everyone in this year's Cabinet are friends already. I can't really say which year I had more fun at because I had an awesome time at both. I wish I could go next year, but unfortunately, this year's my last because we'll be graduating next year! Wow. Time goes by really fast. And so that was my adventure at ASB Camp. Had SO much fun, so thanks everyone who came! Thanks to the girls in my room for the bonding and heart-to-heart chats, to Jason D. for talking to me at lunch that one time, Catherine for all the laughs, Group 5 for the spirit event, frosh orientation, lip syncing, and roll call memories, HC Rally group for all that fun planning, and everyone else for a lot of great memories. "WHO ARE WE?! NINJAS! WHAT ARE WE PLAYING?! THE NINJA GAME!" =D
