8:31 PM || ASB Softball; We had our annual Old ASB vs. New ASB Cabinet Softball game last night at CPE. It was originally set to be during June at Heritage, but it was postponed due to lack of members from the Old Cabinet. However, there were even fewer people last night! I think it was 10 people total who came. Jay, Howie, and Michael for the Old Cabinet, and me, Diane, Jessica, Jason D., Jeff, Eumi, and Harsh for the New Cabinet. Kinda sucks that nobody else bothered to show up, but it's all good `cause we still had a kick-ass time with everyone who did show up! New Cabinet ended up beating the Old with a score of 6-5, which is pretty embarrassing considering we had 4 more people than them. Haha, oh well. Afterward, we all headed to South St. Center to get Coldstone from Eugene and Jeff (thanks guys!) and some Jamba. I got my favorite Coldstone creation called My Strawberry Blonde with extra caramel & whipped cream. YUMM. All of us chatted until people started leaving, and it was only me, Michael, and Jay left. We catched up on a lot of things and just reminisced about the past year. I love bonding! Can't wait to do more of that this year. =)

I've had a lost for inspiration on what to blog about lately (besides my everyday happenings), so I decided to do a couple surveys. Here they go!

Daily Double
1. What is your favourite kind of ethnic food and why?
I absolutely love Thai food. It seems like whenever my family goes out to eat for a birthday, we always end up going to the Thai BBQ restaurant across the mall. It's SO good! I discovered the plate, pad-seeyoo (sp?) at Westwood at Noodle Planet, and ever since then, I've been in love with Thai food! It has an even mixture of sweet and sour that I love. I also like to eat Korean food, but sometimes it gets a little too spicy for me. Hehe. SOONDOOBOO! Which reminds me .. Pamela, we still have to go!

2. If you could be in any reality tv series, which one would it be and why?
Good question! I've always been addicted to reality tv shows. I think I'd have to pick Meet My Folks because it'd be really interesting seeing who my parents would choose most fit for me. I wanna see how far a guy will go to win my heart (or just to win a free weeklong trip with me!) Also, I can't help but wonder what kind of questions my parents would ask the guys for the lie detector test! Oooh what fun!

Random Question: What's a favorite quote of yours? Why?
"Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it’s cracked up to be. That’s why people are so cynical about it .. it really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don’t risk anything, you risk even more." -- Erica Jong
I know I've used this quote time and time again, but I just can't help but notice the truth in it. So many people have questions about love-- how do you know when it's really love, when will they find it-- but I think this quote really says a lot about love and the limits that people will go to find it. I am a firm believer that if you never take chances and risks, you'll never find what you're looking for. I can honestly admit that I love being in love, being loved, and loving others. It gives me that feeling of happiness and reassurance, that someone cares for me and will risk a lot for me. And the same goes for others whom I love. Love really does make the world go round no matter what others say. There's been a lot of situations that I've jumped into, all in the name of love. There's also another quote which talks about taking risks for love .. and here it goes ..
"There are not many people in this world with the ablility to give you butterflies, and if you don't tell those people how you feel, it'll be like spending the rest of your life in your own personal prison." -- Doug from Dawson's Creek.
Seriously though, it's so much better knowing the truth than always wondering "what if?" So take chances my friends!

[edit] How do you like the new layout? Simple, yet sweet. I like. [/edit]
