11:11 PM || WARNING!!! This entry is really long so read only if you have a lot of time. =)

Inner Council Raid; Yesterday started off with a surprise raid by next year's senior class officers + Tina. They raided me at 3:30am because I was chosen to be on next year's Inner Council -- a group of 8 seniors picked to help out the senior class officers with Graduation, Homecoming, Candlerose, etc.. The raid was pretty good cause it was really unexpected. They dressed me up in all pink with a huge sweater & these tight tights which I couldn't zip up because they were Catherine's! So because I was wearing my green/black shorts, they made me keep it on so it would peek through the unzipped part. Then they put shaving cream & other stuff on my hair, and tied it back so that it was like a turban-looking thing. I guess I looked pretty stupid cause whenever Tina, Caitlin, or Gloria would look at me, they couldn't help but to laugh. LOL. xD They said I looked like a bummer, old lady jogger, and a swap meet worker. HAHA! It was pretty hilarious. Then I went with them to get the other 6 raided as well (Dannie Choi was already with them!) The Inner Council members for next year are me = webmaster, Liz Lee = historian, Brian Chan, Jinny Lee, Anna Brewer, Yalda Dorosti, and Priscilla Chung. Dang I felt bad for Liz & Anna cause they had so much stuff on their hair (peanut butter, ketchup, shaving cream, honey) that they stank for hours! Haha I didn't wanna get close to them cause they smelled sour. =T After all of us were together, they blindfolded us and made us do these games like memorizing each others' jobs, and if we get one wrong, everyone would be sprayed with the sprinklers. Good thing we work well together so we didn't have to get wet (it was freaking cold too!) After that game, they had each of us say what food item we wanted at the moment, and chose me to be leader. My mission, along with Brian, was to go to the 7-11 and spend $2 wisely so that everyone in the group is satisfied. The people at 7-11 were staring at me and Brian the whole time so it was pretty embarrassing. We ended up buying these Lifesaver mints thingees, one peppermint flavored because we knew all of our breaths stank (LOL!) and one mixed fruit flavored, because all the different tastes would satisfy all of the different food items we wanted. The officers thought we did well so we passed that mission. The last thing they had us do was a scavenger hunt. They dropped each of us off at different parts of Regional Park, and each were given a clue which would lead us all to the same thing. If one person found the item first, then that person would get to go home. But if we found the item as a group, then all of us get to go home. We actually planned to meet up at the basketball courts first before trying to find the item. So we put all of our clues together, roamed aimlessly around the park looking like idiots (a group of 8 weirdly-dressed people looking through trees & trashcans -- whatdya expect!?), and finally found the hidden item -- a rose headdress kinda thing. We were pretty close because I thought it was a corsage all along, and the headdress DID look like a corsage. =) So we got to go home, wash up, then get ready to go to breakfast at Carrow's with this year's & next year's officers + Mr. Park & Mr. Watanabe. Good stuff man. We should get raided more often. I had fun looking like an idiot & bonding with the kiddies at the same time.

ASB Banquet; So right after breakfast, I went with Catherine to the mall to look for Secret Bye-Bye presents and the Mac's gift. We bought stuff for her secret person, and couldn't figure out what to get the Mac's, so we just decided on Build-a-Bears because she heard them say that they never got one before. So after going to Rubio's to pick up taquitos, ordering salad from CPK, buying strawberry banana cream pie from Carrow's, and Trader Joe's to buy cheesecake, we were off to Downtown Disney to get the bears. We decided to get them matching bear & bunny ones, and dressed them as a fisherman (because the Mac's house has a LOT of fishing stuff i heard), and a poodle-skirt person (because Mrs. Mac loves the oldies.) We recorded our voices saying "We love you Mr. Mac!" and "We love you Mrs. Mac!" and did all that birth certificate/story stuff. It was quite fun, the whole time with Cat searching around Cerritos for all that food & presents. So then she took me home, I took a 1 hour nap, then went with Jay to Target to get our gifts for our people. I bought Eugene the Harry Potter DVD that he wanted, chocolate covered gummy bears, Teddy Grahams, and apple sauce. Jay got Christina a purse from the mall, and this Disney Princess mix-and-match watch thing. Pretty cool. Then we went to L & L to pick up the macaroni salad, and off to the Mac's house we were.

After the 30-minute ride there, I was so astonished by the beauty of the Mac's house. Their home is like right out of a Country Home/Better Living magazine. It's SO pretty! Everything is like antique-y and crafty, very old-fashioned, and beautiful just the same. Their bathroom looks nicer than my own room! LOL. =P The backyard was really cute too, with the pool + tables + benches + rocking chairs + decorations on the ground/trees. It totally reminded me of ASB Camp all over again. What fun times, huh? Well after touring the house, we waited for some more people to come, and just talked & reminisced about the year. Then, we ate, took pictures, signed yearbooks, etc.. My favorite foods was the clam chowder from the Fish Company and the chocolate covered strawberries made by Tina Kim! YUMM. I could live off of those foods forever! =) The gift-exchange came soon after, and we had to act out or say something nice about the person whom we had. I found out that Tina Kim had me, and she got me this really cute Paul Frank canvas bag. I love it! Thanks Tina! I gave Eugene my presents, and I think he liked them so that was good. =) The more unique gifts of the night were Christina's lamp w/ pictures that she made for Michael, Raymond's "big-stick" bat for Esther, Eumi's "white trash" hat for Scott, and of course, Eugene's gas mask for Karen! LOL! Those were some funny things. xP Then we presented our gifts to the Mac's ($50 gift certificate to Mac Grill, a fishing rod w/ 30 fishes with our names + quotes hanging from them, a HUGE collage of pictures of the Cabinet, and the 2 Build-a-Bears.) They really loved them! YAY! Then we had dessert (the strawberry banana cream pies, ice-cream pies from Coldstone, cheesecake) and went right outside again to have the "talks." Mr. & Mrs. Mac gave us these collage frames that they custom made for each of us. It looked really nice & I really appreciate them taking time out of their hands to make something like that. Man, the Mac's are the BEST! I love them!

Afterwards, each of us had our time on the "spotlight" to give our thanks, share our experiences & feelings throughout the year, and just basically say some last-minute words to the Cabinet + the Mac's. It was really emotional with many of us crying & everything. It was touching hearing everyone give their testimonies & thank you's. I have to admit, I have never used that much tissue before in my life. Haha. Yea, yea, I'm a crybaby, but I mean, it was the last time that all of us were going to be together! Whatdya expect, right!? When I went up for mine, I just said something about each of the seniors because if I did that for the whole Cabinet, I would be up there for a long time. I was getting pretty emotional at times, especially when I was saying my thanks to Jay & the Mac's. I regret not saying more about how I felt, but because it was already like midnight and we were already an hour past our planned leaving time, I cut it short and said all I could in that short amount of time. Seriously though, this year was full of so many memories that will always be in my heart. I thank each and every one of you ASB'rs, for always being so welcoming & loving, and for providing me with a second family whom I care for so much. We had to struggle through modernization, drama, and a lot of other crap, but one thing that never changed was the love we had for one another. "I got your back, you got mine, I'll help you out, anytime .." Remember that I'll be here for you guys .. always. Thanks for all the memories. Good luck to the Seniors in college, and in their future. And to next year's Cabinet, we better make it the BEST YEAR because it's gonna be the Mac's last year here at CHS. So then everyone left at around 1:30am or so. I rode with Jay, and we went to his house for a while to talk & chill. I went home like around 3:30 or something cause I fell asleep. Haha.

So yeah. What an eventful day. If you read all of that, tell me and I'll give you a dollar. LOL. =P Time to study for Japanese finals tomorrow. Good luck to everyone during Finals week. Let's end this year on a good note, yeah? =D
