9:32 PM || Thank Goodness It's Friday! The week has finally come to a near end, and what a long week it has been! School has been going by so miserably slow this past month. I don't know, I think it's the fact that nobody is really anticipating the coming of AP Exams in May and the SATs in April, May, and June. Oh boy, all those tests are really gonna kick me in the butt. I’m so behind in US History, and I heard that the Chemistry AP test was hard so I’m gonna have to study for that as well. I think I’m gonna have a hard time with the English test too because I really suck at analyzing poems. It’s like, ‘how the heck can you write a whole essay on a 4 line poem?’ I think the teacher knows that it’s hard for us to come up with central themes on the top of our heads that he has to set up study sessions during the weekends to prepare us for the coming exam. School on weekends .. how pathetic. The sad thing is that most of the class is so devoted to passing those stupid AP Exams that they actually go to those time-consuming 3 hour sessions. Bleh. School’s such a drag.
I’ve been stressing over elections too. This year, I’m running against 5 of my friends for the position of Senior Class President. Sucks to be me, huh? I just have a really bad feeling about this election. Especially because none of the juniors vote since everyone’s gotten so lazy! Next week I really gotta campaign a lot more and get more students to vote. I remember last year when the lines would be crazy long because everyone voted. Too bad this year’s not the same. >:\ Anyhow, whatever the outcome, I just gotta keep in mind that everything happens for a reason – even if it’s not the outcome I hope for.
On a brighter note, I have a date to the Sadie Hawkins Dance! Thanks to Victor for accepting my invitation. Hehe =) The pattern this year seems to be to go stag. Sucks for the guys because guys usually don’t go stag to dances. The ratio is gonna be like 10 girls to 1 guy. LOL! xD We still don’t know what we’re gonna wear. Personally, I don’t really wanna go with the theme because everyone else will be wearing something tropical or Hawaaian. Too unoriginal I think. But we’re probably gonna end up wearing something that didn’t take a lot of thought anyway. Haha. I’m such a hypocrite.
I feel so out of shape. Which is why I’ve started working out again. I’m doing cardio circuit workouts for an hour on alternating days and strength training on alternating days with 1 day of rest a week. Hopefully my energy level will skyrocket and my metabolism will speed up as well. I did an hour of cardio exercises today and I already feel rejuvenated. A couple months of my routine and with a bit of luck, maybe I’ll finally lose those love handles and get those Ryan Starr washboard abs I’ve always wanted. x)
HmM so I’m guessing half of my readers [hey josie!] probably stopped reading after the first paragraph. Kudos to you if you’re still reading! Tell me and I’ll bake you a cupcake. Haha ;P Which reminds me, I haven’t baked cupcakes in a while. Maybe I’ll feel like Betty Crocker-in and bake a whole 3 dozen this weekend! And maybe YOU will be lucky enough to get one! *smile*
