7:06 PM || happy birthday eddie chang! i haven't written in here for a while. school's just been keeping me really busy. i'm getting homework every single day from almost every class because finals are in two weeks and i guess teachers are trying to prepare us or something. i've been doing pretty well, considering i haven't missed a homework assignment so far [not counting the japanese paragraph! *hehe.] my chem grade dropped a couple of percents, so now it's almost a C. and also my trig grade is in trouble because if i don't raise it by semester [which means i gotta do well in finals] i won't be able to get into AP Calc AB with cool teacher mr. brose. i really don't wanna get stuck with harris. >;T enough about school.

the mission viejo conference this past weekend went alright. it wasn't exactly great, because committee was really whack and everything, but the only really fun part was bonding with the buddies. especially the cutie josie! ;D scott was a really fun person to talk to during closing ceremonies and on the bus ride home. i learned so many new things about boys. some good, some bad, some just plain weird. lol. ;P my roomies berry, josie, and yina were also great, even if we all gossip too much. haha. poor josie. she always feels so guilty when she hears any kind of gossip. =T i just found out today that the nationals position paper rough drafts are gonna be due next wednesday, and boy, are me and josie screwed! we don't really know a lot about our topics, and asides from that, we both don't have that much time to work on them. i guess this weekend is gonna be packed with joanna/josie bonding time! that's what so good about having a co! :D

the event i'm hosting, "the weakest link" with the teachers playing against the teachers, started yesterday, and i think so far the feedback is pretty good. the only bad comment i've been getting is that i need to be meaner cause i'm too nice. HA! that's funny. today, i was gonna say something dumb, yet rude [like anne robinson does in the show], but i ended up not doing it. hehe i dunno, i guess i just froze or something. it's funny cause people are actually making alliances with each other. lol. ok well tonight, jay's sister jenny is going to take me, jay, and george out to dinner at some italian restaurant by the beach. i think that's so sweet how she treats her brother's friends out. i told jj [my little brother] that when we're older, i'm gonna take him and his friends out to eat at some expensive restaurant, and his reply was, "HA!" haha i guess we'll see in a couple of years. anyway, i'm gonna take a nap. i'm sleepy. bYe~

"There is a sense of exhilaration that comes from facing head-on the hard truths and saying, "We will never give up. We will never capitulate. It might take a long time, but we will find a way to prevail." -- Jim Collins, from his book, Good to Great
