8:19 PM || diana's debut/cotillion turned out to be really really nice! the decorations were so pretty, everything in lavender&white. the court's dresses were all so pretty! and their hair were all beautifully done. the spotlight of the night, of course, was the debutante diana, looking stunning as ever in her white gown, complete with gloves, a tiara, and her escort ryan. the waltz & modern dances were choreographed very well, and the whole 18 roses & 18 candles thing was really nice too. i bet diana felt like a princess. but then again, that's the whole idea right? so a girl can feel like a princess on her 18th birthday! ;P pamela, liezl, and emierald's rendition of "lean on me" was wonderfully done. comparing diana's cotillion to the previous one i went to, diana's was a lot more formal & elegant. it wasn't just all open dancing, which i think was better because the whole point of the night is to make the debutante feel special all throughout the debut, not just at the beginning, or just the end. i brought jay along with me, and he liked it too! he said it was "a new experience" for him, but that he enjoyed it. i took a couple of pictures there, but if you wanna see some for now, davi took some here. overall, it was a really well-organized event. =)

i still can't believe school is already on monday! there is still SO much to do tonight+tomorrow. then it's back to that hellhole we call school. haha jk. it's just so overwhelming because this coming weekend is the mission viejo MUN conference, which means that this week is gonna be prepping time (writing speeches, caucus notes, solution sheets, writing one last position paper LOL.) then the week after is an event i'm hosting called "student vs. faculty academic challenge AKA the weakest link." so again, that means A LOT of prepping during this week since this weekend i'm gonna be occupied at mission viejo. argh. i guess this is what procrastinating gets me. tonight+tomorrow, i still have to: read chapter 18 for AP US History, dye my hair, get my eyebrows threaded, and do a whole lot of student of the month stuff too. that along w/ all the prepping i have to do for the conference&weakest link. AHH! i think i'm gonna die from exhaustion. >;T

[edit] geez .. nobody comments! actually, nobody signs the guestbook either! makes me feel like my posts aren't worthy of feedback. *pouts. [/edit]
